It looks like struggling Charity has turned a corner when she visits the grave of gangster Harry, whom she shot dead to save the life of captive husband Mack. The experience is cathartic, and leaves her feeling that she has clawed back some power and control.
Sadly for the pint-puller, though – and for Mack – it proves to be just a temporary moment of respite. Crippled with PTSD, Charity continues to plummet, to the point that she ends up attacking her hubby in a violent rage, leaving him seriously injured.
Charity knows she has to do something to address her mental decline. She’s been unable to function properly since that fateful day.
