Andrew Scott has proved to be a versatile actor, whether playing arch-villain Jim Moriarty in Sherlock or the 'hot priest' in Fleabag. This week, the 47-year-old star takes on the title role in the eagerly awaited Netflix version of classic crime thriller The Talented Mr. Ripley.
Based on Patricia Highsmith's bestselling novel and adapted by Oscar-winning screenwriter Steven Zaillian, who penned Schindler's List, the eight-part tale - filmed entirely in black and white - opens in 1960s New York, with Tom Ripley scraping a living as an aimless grifter.
